As of mid-November 2013, Denver Public Library, the largest public library in Colorado is available once again in Prospector.  You can now request items in Prospector with a DPL library card and patrons from other Prospector libraries can request DPL items. With 25 branch libraries and over 1 million items, DPL adds great value and unique content to Prospector. They are one of the biggest libraries in terms of lending and borrowing through Prospector and we are very happy to have them back!

For many years DPL was an active participant in Prospector when they were on a different integrated library system (CARL).  However, when they switched to a new system (Polaris) there were a number of policy, financial and technical issues to resolve before they could be reintegrated back into the union catalog.
